Norfolk Cetaceans – 30th July 2015

The weather this weekend looks good for seeing any cetaceans that might make their way into Norfolk waters. As part of Sea Watch Foundation’s National Whale and Dolphin Watch (NWDW) there will be a sea watch taking place on the east slope of the Promenade approached via ‘Coast Road’ at Overstrand this Sunday from 9am through to around 4pm. You are more than welcome to come and join us. It would be great to see you even for a little while. Bring binoculars and something to sit on.

If you are sea watching elsewhere in Norfolk this weekend please telephone, text or email me with your cetacean sightings. Thank you.

White beaked Dolphin

White beaked Dolphin (pictured above) is historically the commonest dolphin likely to be seen off Norfolk. Some were seen off Lowestoft earlier this month.
