Another sighting reported by RBA mid afternoon of a HUMPBACK WHALE off Sea Palling. I happened to be close-by and paid a visit but only saw two extremely distant blows. However the sea was quite choppy and would have easily hidden the animal at that distance – I believe this (or these … see Letter from Norfolk) animal is feeding on the Herring Shoals that gather offshore at this time of the year. It is likely it will leave when the Herring disperse at the end of November/December.
