At 7.30am this morning Ryan Irvine saw the blow of a whale some 600m off Hemsby. Watching the area with Tabitha Pearman a HUMPBACK WHALE surfaced. Accompanied by a flock of Gannets the Humpback made it’s way slowly north getting further from the coast past Winterton, Horsey, Sea Palling, Eccles and Happisburgh where it disappeared further out to sea. This record constitutes a first for Norfolk. Well done Ryan.

Many people saw the Humpback if you have any photographs I would very much appreciate a copy.
